Childcare Center
The MISD Childcare Center is open to all district employees and school-aged parents of the district. It is currently licensed by the state of Texas for 125 children from ages 6 weeks to 5 years.
The MISD Childcare Center observes the MISD Learning Calendar and pro-rates Summer Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Spring Break. There is no charge for the days closed.
The center is located at the Laura Jenkins Early Learning Academy, and the regular operating hours are 6:45 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
