Childcare Center

The MISD Child Care Center is open to all district employees and school-aged parents of the district. It is currently licensed by the state of Texas for 125 children from ages 6 weeks to 5 years.

The Child Care Center observes the MISD school year calendar and pro-rates Summer Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Spring Break. There is no charge for the days closed.

To register your child, download the registration form and return to the Laura Jenkins Development Center. 
 
The daycare is located at the Laura Jenkins Early Learning Academy. The operating hours are 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
