First, please check your spam folder. 

If you still have not received an email, the username or email was misspelled OR Family Access has not been set up. If you need to set up Family Access, please click HERE  to set one up.

Use the "Forgot Password/Username" link on the Family Access login screen. It will walk you through the steps of resetting your password.

New Student Enrollment

When you have submitted your new student's enrollment, you should see a message on your screen that says, "Thank you for enrolling your student in Midlothian ISD. If you have questions regarding your enrollment, please contact the campus during office hours or email skyward.student@midlothianisd.org." 

Existing Student Registration

When you are finished updating and filling out all online forms, make sure you have clicked the "Submit" button on the final page. You should then see a message on your screen that says, "Thank you for completing and submitting your student's online registration for the upcoming school year. Your information has been submitted to the campus."

You will then have the option to return to the home page of your Family Access account. There you will see the tile for "Student Registration." This tile should now be blue and marked as "Submitted." If the tile has an orange bar, it has been started but not submitted. You will need to click on the tile again to finish the forms. Make sure you click "Submit" at the end.

When you have successfully submitted the registration forms, you are ready for the school year! All Elementary schools will have a Meet the Teacher Night prior to the start of the school year. Secondary campuses will have an opportunity to pick up student schedules prior to the start of school.

When you submit your forms, you will see the tile has turned blue and shows "Submitted" with the date they were submitted. When the campus has approved the forms, the tile will no longer be visible in your Family Access. Congratulations! You have completed your back to school forms and are ready for the new school year. 

Log back into Skyward Family Access. Click on the registration or enrollment box to see the notation on the form to see what additional documents or information is needed. If you need to upload a new document, upload the new document and then resubmit your form. If a residency document was denied, make sure the document includes the enrolling guardians' name, a current date (within 30 days), the service address, and the service provider visible, 

To be eligible for Pre-K, your student must be 4 years old on or before September 1 and also meet one of the qualifications listed at https://www.midlothianisd.org/enrollment/pre-kindergarten-enrollment.

We do not currently offer tuition-based Pre-K.

Please email your campus registrar to complete an address change. Your email must include two (2) forms of proof of residency (listed below). Both items must have the enrolling guardians' name, current date, service address, and service provider visible.

• current mortgage or lease statement AND

• current utility bill (gas, water or electric)

Once the address change has been processed by registrars, you will receive a reply email to proceed with student registration. Please remember, registrars return from a brief summer break on July 15 and will begin processing enrollment, registration and email requests in the order they are received.  

Please do not complete new student enrollment if your student is currently an MISD student. To see the registration box, you need to adjust your Skyward settings.

Select the downward arrow next to the house icon on the toolbar towards the top and choose Family Access. This should direct you to your family student access page. The registration tile will have a green bar across the top.
