Welcome to Midlothian ISD
Whether you’re enrolling a new student or completing your returning student registration, we’re excited to have you here. This page is your starting point for everything you need to get your child ready for the upcoming school year. You’ll find helpful links to guide you through enrollment for Pre-K, kindergarten through 12th grade, and student transfer requests. Our goal is to make the process as simple and convenient as possible, so you can focus on what matters most—your student’s success.
Midlothian ISD uses Skyward Family Access for enrollment and to provide parents with real-time data on their students' grades, attendance, assignments, and more. Alerts can be set to individual preferences and information.
Locate your zoned school
Information on attendance zones, school boundaries, and an address mapping tool can be found online. Please note: As new neighborhoods and streets are developed, these maps serve as a guide. Contact the district by calling 469-856-5000 or emailing info@midlothianisd.org to verify the campuses your home is zoned to attend.
Who are you enrolling?
Pre-Kindergarten
In-District
Choose this option if your family lives in Midlothian ISD boundaries and your child will be four years old on or before September 1. Eligibility criteria must be met.
K - 12
Attend Zoned Campus
Choose this option if your family lives in Midlothian ISD boundaries or is moving into MISD, and your child will attend the school they are zoned for.
Student Transfer Request
In-District
Out-of-District
Choose this option if you live outside MISD boundaries. We are excited that families are interested in Midlothian ISD. While we are not an open-enrollment district, we do offer limited transfer opportunities for eligible students.
Full-Time Virtual Learning
High School Grades 9-12Learn More and apply
Choose this option if your family is interested in enrolling your student in a full-time virtual learning environment. To be eligible, families must live in Midlothian ISD boundaries or qualify for a student transfer.
Annual Residency Verification
All returning students must complete student registration each year to verify residency. Registration opens annually on April 1.
