Midlothian Independent School District

Elementary Music

Midlothian ISD offers K-5 grade students the opportunity to develop a lifelong love of music through the integration of song, instruments, movement, language, play and social interaction.

The Elementary Music program utilizes the TEKS and Quavar Music in order to engage students in the development of foundational music literacy and musicianship skills.

All City Choir

The Midlothian All-City Choir began in 2008 and is an auditioned choir of elite 4th and 5th grade students from every elementary school in the district.

Students who are selected through the audition process will have several required practices after school, and have the opportunity to work with a professional clinician and then perform in a concert at the end of the semester.

Auditions take place in the Fall and all 4th and 5th grade students are encouraged to sign up. Contact your campus Music teacher for more information.
