College and Career Readiness
Parents and guardians are our best partners in ensuring our students are ready for college and career opportunities. Our district provides a robust Career and Technology Education (CTE) program for secondary students. These pathways of study are explained in the Midlothian ISD Academic Planning Guide.
Xello
Xello is a college and career readiness platform that allows parents and students to explore interests, research post-secondary options, and set personalized goals. All secondary students can access Xello through their class link accounts. Besides being used for exploring interests, careers, and schools, Xello has a course planner feature to help with personalized graduation planning.
NCAA Eligibility
Understanding eligibility requirements of NCAA for all student athletes wishing to play at the collegiate level is vital. Visit NCAA directly to become familiar with the different division requirements as well as individual sport requirements. Below is an informative slide presentation for parents and student athletes to reference. Please contact your child's school counselor if you have questions related to your child's academics and NCAA requirements.
