Student-athletes celebrated for Academic All-State designation

A total of 32 MISD fall sport student-athletes have been named Academic All-State honorees. This accomplishment recognizes their exceptional achievement in both athletics and academics. This honor recognizes seniors who demonstrate excellence in the classroom while competing at the varsity level in their sport. Selections are based on GPA, class rank, SAT/ACT scores and overall athletic contributions.

Academic All-State distinctions are awarded through outside organizations, including the Texas High School Coaches Association. Earning this high level of recognition reflects a sustained commitment to discipline, time management and perseverance by our students.
