Seven Midlothian Destination Imagination teams excelled at Global Finals

Seven Midlothian ISD Destination Imagination (DI) teams earned top-15 finishes at the 2026 Destination Imagination Global Finals, the organization's premier international competition, held in Kansas City during the last week of May.

The teams qualified for Global Finals after outstanding performances at the Texas Lone Star Finals, where they demonstrated exceptional creativity, collaboration, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Destination Imagination is a project-based educational program that challenges students to solve open-ended STEAM and service-learning challenges while developing essential life skills such as teamwork, communication, perseverance and innovation.

Representing Midlothian ISD at Global Finals were students from elementary, middle and high school campuses who competed alongside thousands of participants from across the United States and 16 other countries. In addition to presenting their long-term challenge solutions, teams participated in Instant Challenges that tested creativity, collaboration and critical thinking under pressure.
