Midlothian ISD seeks input on potential virtual and hybrid learning options

Families are invited to share their feedback through a community survey as Midlothian ISD explores the potential to offer virtual and hybrid learning opportunities for students. The survey is intended to better understand parent interest, preferences and priorities. The district is evaluating options that could expand learning pathways while maintaining the high-quality educational experience Midlothian ISD families expect.

The district is in the early stages of exploring ways to meet the emerging needs of our students and families by offering expanded learning opportunities through a free virtual platform and a possible hybrid model. Your voice can help guide the district as we thoughtfully evaluate how these options might support student success. Our ongoing goal is to deliver on our commitment to inspiring excellence in every learning experience for our students. The district’s early planning efforts are focused on launching a virtual option for grades 9-12 with the potential of expanding to other grades in future years.

Community input from families with school aged children will play an important role in guiding next steps and ensuring any future offerings are designed with student success and community expectations in mind. Parents and guardians are encouraged to complete the survey and share their perspectives as the district continues to explore innovative ways to support every learner.

The Midlothian ISD Virtual Learning Parent and Community Survey designed to gather feedback on the potential option of offering some level of virtual learning will be open through Monday, April 27 at noon.
