Jimmy Spradley named  the next Assistant Athletic Director

Midlothian ISD has named Jimmy Spradley as the district’s next Assistant Athletic Director. Spradley has served Midlothian ISD for the past 20 years, and he brings decades of experience in education, coaching and various campus leadership roles. He will step into his new role this summer.

Spradley currently serves as Associate Principal at Midlothian Heritage High School, where he oversees the Science and Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs while also managing campus facilities and operations. He also served as an assistant principal at Midlothian High School. His leadership experience has been instrumental in supporting MISD schools.

In addition to his administrative leadership, Spradley has an extensive background in athletics. During his time in Midlothian ISD, Spradley has coached varsity football, powerlifting and was a head softball coach and an assistant baseball coach. His career in education began in coaching roles across Texas, including positions in Temple ISD, Burnet CISD and Dublin ISD before joining Midlothian ISD in 2006.

Spradley holds a Master of Education in Kinesiology from Tarleton State University, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administrative Systems and a Professional Principal Certificate from Lamar University
