Dearborn named Associate Principal of Heritage High School

Midlothian ISD announced the selection of Jeremy Dearborn as Associate Principal of Midlothian Heritage High School. Dearborn succeeds Jimmy Spradley, who was recently selected to serve as the district’s Assistant Director of Athletics.

Dearborn has served as an assistant principal at Heritage High School since 2023, overseeing special education, Career and Technical Education (CTE) and language programs while supporting campus operations, instructional leadership and student success. Prior to joining Midlothian ISD, he served as a vocational teacher in Mansfield ISD and spent six years as a special education teacher in Arlington ISD.

"Jeremy has been an integral part of the leadership team at Heritage High School and has earned the respect of students, staff and families through his commitment to building relationships and supporting student success," said Heritage High School Principal Ketura Madison. "His knowledge of our campus, dedication to excellence and steady leadership have played an important role in the success of our school. I am excited to see him step into this new role and continue making a positive impact on the Heritage community."

“I’m extremely excited to start this new chapter in my career. MISD and Heritage have felt like home since I started here three years ago,” said Dearborn. “I’m ready to continue to inspire excellence and help our students grow.”

Dearborn holds a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Tarleton State University and is certified as a Principal EC-12. As associate principal, Dearborn will help lead the daily operations of Heritage High School while supporting the campus's commitment to academic excellence, student achievement and a positive school culture. He will step into the new role on July 1.
