Bond 2025 Update, Teacher Technology Cohort kicks off

Teachers help guide new device selection process

As part of our Midlothian ISD Bond Program implementation, a Teacher Technology Cohort has been formed to help to gain feedback and input around the instructional technology decisions we need to make as a district. The Cohort met for the first time earlier this week and will met three more times before the end of the school year.

This group plays an important role in shaping key decisions related to technology devices ensuring future investments into technology tools remain aligned with classroom needs and student outcomes. The cohort will follow a structured process designed to produce a phased set of recommendations that district leadership can use to guide implementation decisions.

The work of the Cohort reflects the district's continued commitment to thoughtful planning, transparency and ensuring every investment supports meaningful learning experiences for students.
